Angelica Maria Vale Hartman is an American-Mexican actor, comedian and singer-impersonator. Her birthplace was in Mexico City and was raised by comedian Raul Vale. In 1973, she was credited as the person who launched the La Balada Ranchera (Ranchera Ballad) music genre, which reached the top of the charts and made Angelica Maria the first Latin singer to sell 2 million copies of her music across the United States. In 1974, she met Venezuelan actor and comedian Raul Valle. They got married on the 25th of April in 1975. This was the first Mexican wedding broadcast live.
